Mosaic Church is a progressive and inclusive Church whose vision is to be a compassionate community, rooted in Traverse City, radically loving all people.
LGBTQIA+ Affirming
We want to say this upfront and clearly. There is too much at stake for our LGBTQIA+ friends and family. The risk of entering a Church space and community when the Church may have caused some of their deepest pain is too great for us to remain vague. Mosaic Church is a fully affirming and inclusive faith community for all LGBTQIA+ people. You are welcome FULLY into our church! There are no boundary markers. There is no, “you are welcome, but we expect you to change.” We welcome you not in spite of who you are but because of it! And this isn’t just talk! A large portion of our small community is made up of those in the LGBTQIA+ community. So is a majority of our Lead Team. And we couldn’t be more proud of that fact!
So whether you are LGBTQIA+, an ally, a friend, a brother or sister, or father or mother, or a neighbor, you are fully welcome at Mosaic Church!!
